Established in 2001 and rooted in Bellingham, Washington, Northsound Refrigeration is a leading commercial refrigeration service provider in the Pacific Northwest. Our journey began with our founder, Paul Milstead, who entered the industry in 1989, initially servicing the fast food sector.

We are dedicated to excellence, offering same-day emergency services and ensuring that a real person answers your call 24/7. You'll often find yourself speaking directly with the technician on call, ensuring prompt and personal service. Our robust team includes 18 field technicians and an installation crew of four, adept in all aspects of commercial refrigeration.

As our service business flourished, we expanded our offerings in response to customer demand, now including cooking equipment and HVAC systems, and extending our reach throughout most of Western Washington.

At the heart of our operations, we're a family-owned business, treating our employees and clients alike with the care and respect akin to family.

What kind of service agreements do you have?

For our fast food restaurant partners, we arrange special agreements and are available anytime, all year round in western Washington. Call us for more information.
Do you travel outside of Northwest Washington?

Yes! Our service area incorporates most of Northwest Washington including Whatcom, Skagit, Island, Snohomish, King, and Pierce counties. Just call us, and we can make special arrangements with you. We have technical experts that work on highly specialized commercial equipment.
Do you fix residential freezers or refrigerators?

Sorry! We are commercial experts. We work with commercial kitchens, fast food restaurants, yogurt stores, food trucks and more.
Do you work on 'hot side' or grills and fryer equipment?

Yes! We can help with any commercial equipment. All major kitchen commercial equipment can be serviced or repaired. Call us for more information.
Do you service chillers?

Yes. We do service chillers. We are experts and can help with any problems you have with this type of equipment up to 5 tons.
